Tweet your supportGrump! is a longform Improv Comedy troupe which started as the comedy love child of James Dwyer and Stephanie Griffith when they met in a UCB Improv class in the summer of 2008. Original members included James Dwyer, Stephanie Griffith, Parker Brown, Eugene Wishnic, Luke Koz, Ashley Bezgin, Kevin Laferriere, and Annie Solstad. Grumps first practice was coached by Brandon Gardner at Ripley-Grier Studios. Chris Grassi joined the team later in the fall of 2008.
Brandon Gardner stayed on as coach until the winter of 2008. Kevin Hines followed Brandon and took over as the coach remaining through the spring of 2009. Jill Donnelly the current coach.
Grump members have studied at Improv Olympic in Chicago and Upright Citiczen Brigade in New York City.
They can be seen opening for Improv teams and comedy shows all around the New York area.
